*Theology Teacher for O’Gorman High School:  Responsibilities:  To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.  Qualifications:  Person of prayer and practicing Catholic, degree in theology or pastoral ministry or religious studies

 


*PT Elementary Orchestra Instructor (.5 FTE) for SFCS:  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree with SD teaching certificate, working knowledge of all band or orchestral string instruments, strong personal musicianship, and organizational skills.


*Campus Minister for O’Gorman High School:  Responsible for animating the O+Gorman High School faith community with prayer, theology, and service.  Community consists of students, faculty, staff, administration, parents and families, and the broader civic community as well.  To the degree possible and appropriate, the Campus Minister fosters participation in every sector of the community.  Prayer, Theology, and Service are integrated parts of Campus Ministry.  Qualifications:  Person of prayer and practicing Catholic, degree in theology or pastoral ministry or religious studies, experience working with young adults and an appreciation of the unique developmental needs and perspectives of this age group and ability to work with staff, parents, members of the larger community.


*Special Education Teacher for Holy Spirit School:  Qualifications:  B.A. in education/special education and special education experience preferred.

*PC Support Specialist (IT Department):  FT/Year Round (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) for Sioux Falls Catholic Schools.  To provide support and expertise in the area of computer science and technology.  Responsibilities:  Troubleshoot and maintain the system’s computers, Provide technical support to Sioux Falls Catholic Schools faculty and buildings, Maintain an image library and ghost (new and existing PC’s) and assist the Director of Information Technology with software/hardware updates, and troubleshooting.  Qualifications:  Minimum of Associate degree in Computer Science and/or past experience equivalent in areas of responsibility preferred, Understands a systematic approach to problem solving, Possesses a fundamental working knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems and software, Ability to diagnose and resolve problems, and be familiar with a variety of educational software applications, Strong interpersonal skills, Self Starter, Flexibility, Ability to work with a wide variety of people.


*After School Teacher Assistant:  PT/Seasonal (2:45-6:00 p.m.) for St. Mary School and Holy Spirit School


Food Service Positions:

*Cook/Baker:  PT/Seasonal (7:00-1:30 p.m.) for O’Gorman Jr. High School.  Responsibilities:  Prepare entrees for breakfast and for the lunch program, prepare baked goods, assist with receiving and inventory; Qualifications:  Knowledge of basic food service, ability to handle multiple food service tasks in a fast pace environment, adjust recipes up or down based on serving size, ability to work in extreme temperature changes, customer service and organizational skills.

*Food Service Assistant:  PT/Seasonal (10:30-1:30 p.m.) for St. Mary School.   Responsibilities:  Assists in providing food to the students/staff and maintaining the kitchen and cafeteria.  Qualifications:  Knowledge of basic food service, ability to handle multiple food service tasks, ability to work in extreme temperature changes, team player and flexible.

*Cashier:  PT/Seasonal (10:30-12:30 p.m.) for O’Gorman High School.  Responsibilities:  Serves as a cashier, help assemble and prepare food.  Qualifications:   Ability to handle money, ability to relate to children in a caring manner, planning and organizational skills.
